Dungeons!


After slowely getting back on the game design horse, I have began working on a new level type: dungeons! These are currently very resemblant of the dungeons in SMB and there is still much more to add to ensure it is our style. This is more a devblog for me to reintroduce myself to writing and posting updates. There have been little changes on and off within the past months:

  • Mushroom blocks are now hidden with a [?] block. I wonder what this could mean???
  • Added dragonflies and falling white feathers <3
  • Redesigned character. She is now double the pixel size but will remain the same height in game. This has allowed for a more detailed version of the playable Siobhan!
  • Implimented two gamemode options for when you begin playing. The first gamemode is the version I will be testing and can be seen as more “difficult” than the alternative. The alternative is a “casual” mode, where you are less likely come across dangers, making the whole gaming experience calmer and easier! And yes, this feature has been added because the game can be a little too difficult for Siobhan :P
