Getting good.


This weeks update revolves heavily around the new map system and dungeon levels!

  • dungeon style levels created.
  • dangerous fireballs that jump out of the lava at different heights
  • a firestick that rotates in a circle and will reset the player if touched
  • recreated the dropping platforms for normal levels, not only minigames
  • added a fire lazer!
  • redrawn stone blocks, added stone pillars
  • death spot now slowely dissapears once you get close enough. giving it enough time to show you where you previously got injured
  • added extra shading to all blocks. things are looking really professional!
  • designed a new minigame level: heart drop! 100 heart will drop from the sky and you have the opportunity to catch them without falling off into the spikes below. this is a minigame so the level can only be played once and not mass used for easy hearts
  • added a modifier that can add mold to bricks if added to the level
  • created ice dungeon tilesets and difficult map
  • created falling ice spikes
  • redesigned shading, hue and atmosphere for level designs
  • designed a new winter costume that little Siobhan will wear on cold maps! it has three different hat designs to choose from too
  • retweaked the moving platforms for an easier user experience. they’re not so buggy now!
  • added spining ice spikes. some of them even move side to side
  • added an extra ledge to each block that will allow the player a higher chance of jumping off a block even if they’re not touching it.
  • we now have a map!
  • the map will allow you to access levels in any order you wish. if a level is too difficult, you can just ignore it!
  • to gain access to new levels, you must have enough hearts to purchases islands. hearts can be re-obtained from any level as many times as you like, except minigame balloons.
