Update 0.1.4 - Event Rework



To combat a difficulty that you may face when needing older blocks, I have added a new upgrade along side with an event that will ensure you receive a just amount of soil, earth and clay. This will both ensure you are able to upgrade golems going forward and finish all upgrades, while making some extra essence when being sold!

Added Echo Harvest upgrades to shovel, pickaxe and Golem. This upgrade allows you to find older blocks when mining;

Added Dust Storms that will litter the playable area with older dirt types;

Moles can now drop blocks;

Increased auto-sell amounts. Over 100 sells 10 and over 1000 sells 100;

Increased single click sell amounts the same;
-
Slightly changed the visuals of the Skyfall Shards (meteors);

Solshards can now be mined from Witchrock;
-
Added Luna Shards which can only be mined from Runestone;
-
Increased crystal depths and lowered the amount of crystal veins;

Added an upgrade level cap. You will no longer be able to go over the max level of each upgrade. The amount of currency needed will be reworked at a later date;

Artwork for Veinfire Beam has been reworked;
-
Added a “new block found” pop up;
-
Finding new blocks can trigger a random event;
-
Added almighty essence veins, 1:100 chance of spawning and it will give 10x more essence!;

Added new “rare” events. These will happen much less often;
-
Rare event: Hollow Moon - Doubles the amount of blocks you collect but turns the screen completely black;
-
Rare event: Dragonfly Migration - a colourful swarm of dragonflies pass across the screen, leaving behind a bounty of essence veins while also converting old essence veins into almighty veins;

Crystal Chorus now gives you double crystal drops;

Added Dense Blocks. There is a small chance a block will spawn dense and can give an extra 10 blocks from mining it;

Made some aspects of the game prettier;

Added a slight manipulator to the price of upgrades;

Increased general block and crystal prices;

Made Runestone have less health;

Changed the icon for fully upgraded items;

Made the deepest block even deeper;

Added one extra upgrade to the pickaxe;

Made rare random events even rarer;
-
Added a free essence boost for new players!;
Over the coming months, I will be diving back into development to rework and refine several core systems. Two major additions are on the way: the Infusion and Milestone branches, both designed to deepen the progression and reward structure.
Alongside this, I will be focusing on improving overall readability and visual clarity, including better scaling support for fullscreen mode, so you can enjoy the game in crisp detail without any pixel tearing.
